September 30, 2026

September 30, 2026 —The FireFly AMP-L100 fleet has now mowed more than 150,000 acres autonomously. That total is twice the figure we reported in May, reached in just five months.

The pace reflects a simple fact: more golf courses are putting AMP to work every day. Each new unit adds acres to the fleet total, and each acre is mowed on a planned path with consistent, repeatable results.

What 150,000 Acres Looks Like

Acreage is an abstract number, so here is the same milestone in terms superintendents work with every day:

  • 150,000+ acres mowed autonomously by the AMP-L100 fleet
  • 80,000+ fairways, the equivalent area
  • 6.5 billion square feet of turfgrass maintained with precision

Every one of those square feet follows a route mapped for optimization, with striping and overlap set by the course team. The result is the same finish on the first fairway of the morning as on the last, week after week.

A Fleet Across North America

AMP-L100 units now operate at golf courses in 33 states, two-thirds of the United States. The fleet also reaches beyond the continental U.S., with units in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.

That range covers a wide mix of grass types, terrain, and climates. From cool-season bentgrass in the North to warm-season Bermuda grass in the South, AMP maintains fairways to each course’s own standards.

What Drives the Growth

The fleet grows because AMP fits into the way courses already operate. Three things stand out in conversations with our customers.

Setup that starts with the course. Our Customer Success team maps each property with QuickPlan™, so mowing plans match the course’s layout, patterns, Slow Zones, and Exclusion Zones from day one.

Features that keep improving. Autonomous PathLink™ moves AMP from one fairway to the next on its own (with some exceptions), and SmartStart™ further reduces the need for direct intervention. Over-the-air updates bring new capabilities to units already in the field.

Support after the sale. Field technicians, the Helpdesk, and the Customer Success team stay with each course well past delivery. That White Glove Experience keeps units running and crews confident.

With AMP handling fairways, crews spend more of their morning on bunkers, greens, and the details that golfers notice most.

Thank You to Our Customers

This milestone belongs to the superintendents, assistants, and crews who run AMP every day. Their feedback shapes every update we send, and their results show what autonomous mowing delivers at scale.
